Spirulina is a marine algae plant with a very high vitamin and mineral content.

You could alternate the spirulina in this blend with some ‘Brewer's Yeast’ powder, which is high in chromium to help balance blood sugar and reduce sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • Handful spinach
  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp porridge oats
  • Handful blueberries
  • Handful raspberries
  • 250ml coconut water (or plain still water)
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • 1 scoop whey protein
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together and blend
  2. Drink slowly over a 30 minute period
